Patricia Ann Callicott Dunlap

Patricia Ann (Callicott) Dunlap, age 82, of Conyers died Monday, August 24, 2015. An only child, Mrs. Dunlap was born January 10, 1933 in Chicago, Illinois to Mae (McAdoo) and Thomas Callicott, moving to Atlanta as a child. She was retired from Federated Department Stores, beginning her career at Rich’s Downtown. During her years of employment, she was also an Administrative Assistant at C & S Bank in Atlanta. She attended college at Georgia State University and was a homemaker until she was widowed at the age of 38, devoting her life to her sons and family. She was a member of Kirkwood United Methodist Church and Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church where she taught Sunday School for years. Mrs. Dunlap was a devoted daughter to her parents whom she adored, and a loving mother and grandmother dedicated to her family. She is preceded in death by her husband, James Harold Dunlap Sr. as well as her parents. Survivors include her sons, James H. and Ruby Dunlap of Danielsville, Chris and Cindy Dunlap of Lawrenceville, John Preston and Regina Dunlap of Loganville, and Russell and Paula Dunlap of Covington; grandchildren, Brian Dunlap, Amanda and Mark Wilson, Thomas Dunlap, and Tyler Dunlap; great-grandchildren, Jack, Tucker, Katie, Michaela, Tucker G., McKinley, and Alexander. A funeral service is scheduled for Thursday, August 27, 2015 at 11:30 o’clock at Patterson’s Spring Hill. Interment will follow at Crest Lawn Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
