Patrick Austin Fridell

Patrick A. Fridell, 84, of Atlanta passed away August 27, 2010. Pat was born in Marietta, Georgia on December 31, 1926, the son of Charles Ervin and Rosa Bishop Fridell. He was preceded in death by his brother, Joseph Ervin Fridell, and sister, Nancy Florence Fridell. He is survived by his niece, Beverly Brock, Corpus Cristi, Texas; and his chosen family, Cheryl Knapp of Newnan, Georgia and Leo Zomparelli of Decatur, Georgia. Pat served in the Army for multiple tours of duty receiving his law degree prior to being honorably discharged in 1966. Pat then joined the Georgia Department of Labor, where he retired after 30 years. He was a member of St. Thomas More Catholic Church. A celebration of Pat's life will be held at H.M. Patterson & Son, Spring Hill on Monday, the thirtieth of August at one o'clock in the afternoon with interment to follow at Arlington Memorial Park.
