Paula Marie Dawkins of Brookhaven passed away unexpectedly on November 2, 2014. Paula was originally from Jacksonville, FL and was the daughter of the late Crosby H. Dawkins and Catharine N. Dawkins of Buckhead; sister of Janelle and her husband Richard Landrigan of Sudbury, MA; aunt to Richard Landrigan and Catharine and Robert Paiva and their baby Evaleen. Paula owned a ladies accessory business at the Atlanta Merchandise Mart. She volunteered in a number of charities including the Atlanta Food Bank, The Alzheimer’s Association, and the Autism Foundation. Both Fix GA Pets and the Latin American Association benefited greatly from Paul’s philanthropy. The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM on Thursday at H.M. Patterson & Son-Oglethorpe Hill Chapel. Funeral services will be held on Friday at 11:00 AM at Peachtree Rd. UMC, 3180 Peachtree Rd NE, Atlanta, GA 30305. Interment will follow at Arlington Memorial Park in Sandy Springs.
