She was the daughter of Marion Waller and Madeline Davis Waller, and the sister of Larkin Waller, who predeceased her. Pauline was raised in Decatur, Georgia; attended Decatur Girls High School; and graduated from Agnes Scott College with a Bachelor of Science in chemistry in 1955. She was a proud Phi Beta Kappa.
She is survived by her loving husband of 65 years, Walter Hoch; her daughters, Madeline Marsden (Paul) and Paula Bridges; her son, David Hoch; her grandchildren, Emma, Patrick (Nicole), Meredith and Sarah Marsden, Andy and David Bridges, Hannah Hoch, Hallie Hoch West (Carter), and Harrison Hoch; and her great-grandson, Charlie Marsden.
A Celebration of Life Mass will be held on Friday, May 8, at 11:00 a.m. at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church (2855 Briarcliff Road NE, Atlanta, Georgia 30329).
