Preston was born on October, 2, 2015, in Atlanta, Georgia, to parents Nicholas and Jilian Wolter. Preston was a gift from the start. When faced with adversity at birth, he maintained a positive attitude and was a very determined, hardworking little boy. He never let anything slow him down. A loving, kind soul, Preston was known by his family to have a big personality. He was always laughing, getting into trouble, and touched the lives of everyone he met. He loved music, banging on his piano, going to the park to swing and go down the slide, snuggling, playing with his best friend Scout, and facetiming with his grandparents.
Preston is survived by his parents, Nicholas and Jilian Wolter; his paternal grandfather, Daniel Wolter; his maternal grandparents, Meredith and Carolyn Clubb; his uncles, Adam Wolter and Stephen Clubb; and his beloved dog, Baxter.
A memorial service will take place at H.M. Patterson and Son Oglethorpe Hill Chapel in Atlanta, GA on Monday, January 22, 2018 at 11:00am with a luncheon to follow. All are invited. In lieu of flowers, the family is asking for donations in Preston’s name to organizations that played a special role in his life: Lekotek of Georgia (http://www.lekotekga.org), Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta (https://www.choa.org/donors-and-volunteers/ways-to-give), or The Elaine Clark Center (http://www.elaineclarkcenter.org).
