

Rae Neal Morris, 96, died August 14, 2011. She was born on April 7, 1915 and was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene Brannon Morris, former Chairman and CEO of George Muse Clothing Company.
She is survived by her children and their spouses: Eugene B. Morris, Jr. (Natalie), Tiger, Ga., Guerry Morris Redmond (Frank), Atlanta, Ga., Ann Morris Johnson (Tim) Atlanta, Ga. and Susan Morris Sessions (Claude), Atlanta, Ga.
Grandchildren: E. Brannon Morris, III, MD (Leigh), Athens, Ga., G. Harrison Morris (Coleman) Atlanta, Ga., Neal Redmond Guth (Andy) Johns Creek, Ga., F. Matthew Redmond, Jr. (Courtney) Athens, Ga., Margaret G. Redmond, Charleston, S.C., Clare A. Johnson, MD, Washington D.C., Amanda R. Johnson, Atlanta, Ga., George T. Johnson, Atlanta, Ga., Robert E. Sessions,(Ferrill), Atlanta, Ga., Andrew M. Sessions, Atlanta, Ga., William B. Sessions, Atlanta, Ga. and John B. Sessions, Atlanta, Ga.
Great Grandchildren: Maggie, Rae and Bo Morris; Andrew and Ginny Guth; Denton and Patrick Redmond
Rae Morris graduated with an AB in Journalism from The University of Georgia in 1936 where she was a member of Phi Mu Sorority, Phi Kappa Phi honor society and was selected Miss Pandora for three consecutive years.
She was a member St. Luke’s Episcopal Church for or 61 years where she was active with the flower guild. She was also a member of The High Museum of Art, The Atlanta Symphony Guild, The Iris Garden Club, The Center for the Visually Impaired, several book clubs and The Piedmont Driving Club.
She loved to experience the beauty of all the arts and traveling the countryside of Ireland and France. Rae enjoyed life with her family and friends and we all will miss her kindness, intelligence and humor.
