Renee Azar Lauth, age 81, of Atlanta, Georgia, passed away Sunday, March 16, 2025. She was born December 28, 1943 in Atlanta, Georgia to proud, first-generation Lebanese immigrant parents. Renee was a graduate of St. Pius X Catholic High School. She retired from a distinguished career in commercial insurance brokerage.
Renee was dearly loved by her family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Nassif and Frafronia Azar; her brother, Herbert Azar; and her sisters Evelyn Azar and Angela Boackle. She is survived by her husband, Noble Lauth; her son, Richard Lauth; her daughter, Constance O’Hern; her four grandchildren, Dorothy Lauth, Walker Lauth, Andrew O’Hern and Colton O’Hern; and countless nieces, nephews, and cherished friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you consider a donation to the St. Pius X Catholic High School Memorial Scholarship Fund, held at the Catholic Foundation. The family will receive visitors at H.M. Patterson and Son – Oglethorpe Hill on Wednesday, March 19, 2025 at 10:00 am, followed by a funeral service at 11:00 am. Interment will follow at Westview Cemetery in Atlanta.
