Dr. R. Michael Allen went home to be with his Lord on Thursday morning, the 10th of September, next to his beloved wife Colette in their home in Atlanta. Michael was survived by his brother, Dr. Bohn Dixon Allen of Arlington, TX and his daughter Brandwyd Michele Allen of Nashville, TN.

Michael was born in Fort Stockton and raised in Alpine, TX. He attended UT Southwestern Medical School in Dallas and served in the United States Army as a Major. a physician and psychiatrist. He married Captain Karen Sue Drowns and they had Brandwyd and served until 1982 and were together until her passing in 1983.
