Richard was a Vietnam veteran and an avid outdoorsman. He is survived by his wife, Cynthia Pavey; son, Shannon Pavey; daughter, Heather Pavey Moore; stepson, Robbie Mitchell; stepdaughter, Courtney Mitchell; six grandchildren; father, Charles Pavey; brother, Gene Pavey; and sister, Shirley Moore. Funeral services will be held at H.M. Patterson & Son, Spring Hill Chapel on Monday, the fourth of October at ten o’clock in the morning. The family will receive friends one hour prior. Interment will follow at Crest Lawn Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105, tribute # 26672144.
