Happy Birthday Ricky,
Celebrating your birthday is always an occasion. So on your special day, I will be playing music, lighting a candle or two, enjoying some food and holding you in my thoughts.

My friend Ricky, your time here was ended way too soon. Much of the time our friendship revolved around everyday things which we found funny, or irritating or simply too outrageous to be true.
Whenever we hung out, your goodbye would frequently include “I’m so glad we had this time together” reminiscent of Carol Burnett.
Yes Ricky, I am indeed glad, and very thankful that we had this time together.
I miss you, my friend.
