Robert W. Roberts, 83, of Decatur, passed Monday, January 2, 2017. He was a graduate of North Fulton High School and Emory University, where he was a member of Delta Tau Delta Fraternity, and received a Master’s degree from the University of Georgia. He retired from the U.S Department of Housing and Urban Development, and was a member of Peachtree Road United Methodist Church. Funeral services will be conducted at Peachtree Road United Methodist Church at 12:00pm on Wednesday, January 11, 2016 in the chapel with visitation one hour prior to the service. Dr. Warren Smith and Dr. Bill Britt will be officiating. Mr. Roberts will be laid to rest at Jackson City Cemetery, Jackson, GA, following the service.
