Sammy was born January, 24, 1939 in Gainesville, GA, and died in Augusta, GA on November 28, 2011. He was predeceased by father William Perry Wright, Jr., mother Blanche Creech Wright, and brother William P. (Billy) Wright. Survivors are sister Barbara Cheshire (Joseph) and twin brother Max Perry Wright (Kay) and many nieces and nephews. Sammy is best remembered for his sparkling sense of humor and his loving nature. Graveside service will be on Wednesday, November 30 at 1:00 at Floral Hills Cemetery led by Karen Allamon, pastor of Rock Spring Presbyterian Church. The family expresses appreciation to the loving care Sammy received in his group home in Augusta, GA.
