Sarah Hall Caldwell, 86, of Atlanta died Monday, June 14, 2010. Mrs. Caldwell proudly served in the Women’s Army Corps in New Guinea and the Philippines during World War II. After her discharge, she continued with the government for 30 years. Mrs. Caldwell was a member of Brookhaven Baptist Church for over 45 years. She is survived by her husband of 52 years, John H. Caldwell; her son John Freeman Caldwell and his wife Susan; grandchildren, Ensley, Elijah and Graham Caldwell; sister, Rhoda M. Hall; numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, June 17, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. at Brookhaven Baptist Church. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 at H. M.
