Sidney P. Cooper, 95 of Lawrenceville, GA passed away on January 23, 2012. He was retired from the VA Hospital and honorably served our country during WWII in the United States Army. He was preceded in death by his wife Nora Faye Cooper and son Glenn Cooper. Sidney is survived by his son and daughter-in-law Kevin and Breda Cooper, grandson Michael Cooper (Venus), great-granddaughter Selena and sister Mary Jones of Lawrence, SC. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 28, 2012 at 2pm in the chapel of H.M. Patterson & Son Oglethorpe Hill. The family will receive friend on Friday from 5-8pm.
