Went to high school and college with Steve and got to know him well in college. Great person, upbeat, caring, fun, and full of laughter. And then he went and accomplished so much afterwards.... Blessings to him and all those he touched along the way. To the Brooks family, I am so sorry for your loss and my thoughts and prayers are with you.

We are so sad to hear of Steve's passing Marla-Deen. We will always remember him as Will's very first football coach. He made such a positive impact in his life and to this day we have fond memories of that football season. We will be thinking of you and your family. Love to you all.

Hi Marla-Deen and family, I was so saddened to hear of Steve’s passing. What a wonderful friend, husband and Dad! I can’t help but relive all the fun times we had as young marrieds in Atlanta, becoming parents for the first time and countless hours by the pool at Brookhaven. Our lives have taken us in different directions but want you to know how much Steve was admired and loved. I’m in Athens a lot now with Elizabeth there, I’d love to reconnect with you Marla-Deen! Love ya’ll!
