Susan Roane Fournier

ROSWELL, GA - Susan R. Fournier, 70, passed away after a long, courageous battle with cancer on March 2, 2017. Susan was born in Norfolk, VA, and until recently was a 35-year resident of Poquoson and Yorktown, VA, where she retired as a foreign language teacher with Poquoson City Schools. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family and she was fortunate to have moved to Georgia in 2016 to be close to her children and grandchildren. Susan is survived by her husband, John Fournier; two sons and their wives, David and Libby Britt, and Matthew and Sarah Britt, all of Marietta, GA; five grandchildren, Sara, David Jr., Olivia, Dylan, and Levi; and two sisters and their husbands, Tucker and Chris Crum, of Brookline, MA, and Foster and Dave Coxe, of Mobile, AL. The family will be receiving visitors on Friday, March 10, 2017 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Trinity United Methodist Church in Poquoson, VA, and a memorial service will follow at 3:00 PM at the church.
