My dearest friend Susan,
Oh how I miss you. We had so much to talk about upon my return from France and stories to share. You knew I had some shenanigans in Italy and we were so excited about planning our next trip to France together. Thank you for your guidance on my Paris and south of France suggestions. I’m so happy you shared how our connection was so rich and trusting. The last messages to one another. You were right...”better days ahead! “ Now you are free and have your wings. You were so brave and positive. We had so much in common...our blond hair, our deep passion for fragrance, and France and so much more. I will continue your legacy somehow in some way. You will live in my heart and my memory forever. Love you so much my sweetest friend.

I don't have many memories of Susan but do remember her being a sweet generous person who always seemed to have a smile on her face. My heart felt condolences go out to her family, close friends and all our classmates who consider her a friend.

As owner of A Tisket A Tasket Hats, Susan & I shared many events during the years. We were judges at the Alliance Francais hat events and various events around town. She was an inspiring entrepreneur, friend & colleague! She will be sorely missed! Condolences to family & friends.
Rest in Peace Susan! Love,

I am now free. The restrictions placed upon me by the confines of my physical limitations are no concern. Flight is swift but effortless. The joy cannot compare to any I have ever known. My soul was entrapped in a body and now flies free. I see the light of the stars. The rush of the wind tingles like a cool morning breeze. To feel the love of those behind me, the joy of those who have gone before. There is peace as I finally see my God. I will wait, for in time you too will come. The light, the joy, the love; I am now free.“

Suzie, I'll always remember you as the beautiful girl with a smile that lit up the universe! I'm so glad we saw each other on occasion at our CHS mini reunions. We had a blast together at the last one we both attended. Thanks for reaching out to me this past year with your support and kind words through a difficult time! So many beautiful words I've seen posted about the Beautiful soul that will surely be missed! Heaven gained an angel in you for sure! Love & Hugs until we meet again! XOXOXO

This one began when we were but teens
Lasting for decades through whatever means.

Years go by, changes occur
Friendships are strained but some endure.

Cards, calls , visits and more
We always managed but neither kept score.

Then the unexpected - a life suddenly ends
Shocked and questioning are so many friends.

Fond memories keep coming as I reminisce
My friend “Suzy” Sexton , you will forever be missed .
