I have been stunned and immobile since hearing of the death of Theressa. To the Vincent family, and dear Anita: I am SO sorry for your loss; OUR loss, all of us who had the privilege to know, and love, Theressa.  My "Emory Years" were greatly enriched by adventures with Theressa and Our Gang.  Her ready smile, infectious laugh, and beguiling wit are all part of the memories I will cherish.  Rest well, Dear Friend.  You were well loved and will be sorely missed.

I didn't meet Theressa, but know of her through Dana. She made quite an impression on Dana, and her values and professionalism will live on. So sorry for the loss.

Theresa was the first person I met when I came to interview for the SBB program at EUH/ARC  eons ago.  I really wanted the donor center experience that was part of this program, but the Yankee in me was a bit skittish heading this far south when I had the opportunity to say north.  As she lead me through the interview process, her ability to exert a calming influence amazed me then, and continued to amaze me over the 35 years that I have been proud to call her friend.

To Heaven's Newest Angel and My Dear Friend "Teresa", Good Journey and God Speed.  Until We Meet Again.

Theressa was my mentor, teacher, colleague and friend for over 40 years.  She was always willing to help with any situations.  She spent the night with our son Daryn who was 17 months old while I was having our daughter Marnie at Emory Hospital.  She was the best cookie lady he ever knew!  She taught me all the "Southern" ways that I needed to know even when I made she and the Blood Bank celebrate Lincoln's Birthday.  I will miss her and know that she is now FREE of pain. Theressa was a friend and neighbor at the Harwood Condominiums for many, many years.  During that time she gave unstintingly of her time and extraordinary competence to the community in many ways.  I will miss the many lunches, trips to Tucker, Trader Joe's and Garden Centers I shared with her and her friends.  Always cheerful, fun to be with and one of the most gracious and kind people I've had the pleasure to know.  She will be missed by many.

Theressa's Saint Joseph's colleagues send heartfelt sympathy to the Vincent family and friends.  I have such wonderful memories of meetings, trips, student matching, and lunches from "the good old days".  Theressa made work fun and was an inspiration.

I knew Theressa through the SEABB (Southeastern Area Blood Bankers).  She was active in the organization for many years and always assisted with any task required with a cheerful and positive attitude.  She will be missed. My thoughts and prayers are with her family at this time.

I will always cherish the sweet memories of our walks together in Harwood with Sasha and Daisey! May your soul rest in peace.

Over forty years!  We can scarcely believe it that we have known each other that long.  We have such wonderful memories of all the times that we have shared together with her - many special meals. I have some special memories of Theressa, after we left Russell. The very first time I saw the play, "Peachtree Battle", was with her and Peggy Collins. The first time I ate in a "Ted's Montana Grill" was also with them. Some time after those Threrssa and I enjoyed a few lunches together, in neighborhood restaurants. But, mostly we stayed in touch through email, sharing jokes, politics and whatever we thought the other might appreciate .I will truly miss my E-Friend and special classmate, and I share the sorrow of her loss with family and friends alike. Theressa was such a special mentor to me in medical technology education when I was young and inexperienced.  We traveled to conferences together, she gave me wise advice on how to handle issues and was just one of the nicest individuals I had the pleasure of working with in my career.  Theressa was very respected in her field and had a huge impact on her students and co-workers.  She was a blessing to all of us and will be missed.  God Bless.

Connie and Ann, I do not know if you remember me, Jackie Lunsford Thomas.  Theressa and I were play mates and we were in the same Church for so many years. I cannot tell you how this touches my heart Theressa will be forever my friend as well as so many of the many friends we still talk to.  We will look forward to seeing her when we all get to heaven. The very best to you both.

Theressa was a rare gem.  In the decade since we met, she has consistently surprised me with her willingness to do hard work with incredible competence.  Always with a smile.  Always with humility.  Such a genuinely good, sweet, smart person with a great sense of humor.  She will be missed.

Theressa, my big little sister, has been the rock of this family for her entire life.  She has been our glue.  She was the one who remembered the birthdays, all of the in-laws names and their children's names and coordinated our weekly lunches.  She knew how much I loved her and leaves this world a better place.
