Vaudell Carrie Fowler ("Chick"), 89, was born March 17, 1927 in Dawsonville, Georgia, and died in Atlanta, Georgia on March 6, 2017. She was a life-long resident of Atlanta, since her marriage to Jack D Fowler in 1947. She is preceded in death by her husband and her parents Paul Burt Mincey and Eula Gooch. She is survived by her only child, daughter Jacqueline Fowler, son-in-law James Holloway, and four generations of nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be Thursday, March 9, 2017 at 2:30 pm at Patterson’s Spring Hill Chapel with interment to follow at Crestlawn Memorial Park. Bishop Jim Swilley officiating. The family will receive friends prior to the service at 1:30 pm.
