Verlyne "Pat" Sangster Wagstaff

Mrs. Verlyne S. (Pat) Wagstaff, 93, of Atlanta, GA, died Friday, February 23, 2018 after an extended illness. Mrs. Wagstaff was born March 3, 1924 in Vienna, GA to the late Mr. and Mrs. Homer and Faustine Sangster. As a professional realtor for many years she was affiliated with Sangster Realty, Adair Realty, Ackerman Realty and ReMax of Buckhead and she was awarded the Phoenix Award of the Atlanta Board of Realtors. Mrs. Wagstaff was proud to have served as past president of Brookwood Hills Garden Club and was a member of Raburn-Gap Nacoochee Guild. She also was a member of Ponce de Leon Baptist Church in Buckhead. She was preceded in death by her husband Byford E. Wagstaff, Sr. Survivors include her son Byford E. Wagstaff (Debbie), one sister Jean S. Cory, one grandchild, six great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held 11A.M. Tuesday, February 27, 2018, at Spring Hill with burial at Arlington Memorial Park. Memorials may be made to The EEE Helping Hand Fund at Second Ponce de Leon Baptist Church, 2715 Peachtree Road, NE Atlanta, GA 30305. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at H.M. Patterson & Son, Spring Hill, 1020 Spring St. NW, Atlanta, Georgia, 30309.
