Vivian Rae Schoenbachler

Vivian Rae Schoenbachler, age 4 months, passed peacefully in her parents’ arms at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta Egleston in the Cardiac ICU on December 6, 2022. After several months of fighting many medical obstacles including multiple heart defects, Vivian went Home to be with God.

Vivian was born in Atlanta, Ga on August 4, 2022 at 9:57 pm. She is the first and only child of Lacey and Nicholas Schoenbachler.

During her brief visit on Earth, Vivian loved her fierce pink leopard lovey and pacifier, her fur sister Penny, Flo and Uno Therapy Dogs at CHOA, holding on to her parents’ fingers as tight as she could, and snuggling close with her mom and dad. Vivian far exceeded the meaning of her name which inspires a vibrant life and legacy. Much of Vivian’s life was spent in the hospital but this did not stop her from changing the lives of everyone who met or heard about her. Vivian’s life and legacy will live on through those who speak her name, she was loved dearly by all who met her, and will be greatly missed forever.

Vivian is preceded in death by great grandparents Lud & Vivian Fiser, Vada & Robert Turner Jr., and Bernard Schoenbachler.

Vivian is survived by her parents Lacey & Nicholas Schoenbachler; grandparents Karen & Robert Turner III, Donna & Thomas Schoenbachler, great grandparents Helen Schoenbachler, Terrie & Raymond Uhl; aunts and uncles Lauren & Curtis Cochran, Leah & Benjamond Schoenbachler, Audrey & Robert Turner IV; cousins Mary Claire & Caroline Cochran, Declan & Thatcher Schoenbachler, Charlotte & Henry Turner.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 13, 2022 from 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm at H.M Patterson & Son – Oglethorpe Hill Chapel. A prayer service will occur at Cathedral of Christ the King Catholic Church on Wednesday, December 14, 2022 at 10:00 am.
