

Wesley was born in Atlanta, Georgia, on January 24, 1961. He was preceded in death by his father, John Emerson Wright and is survived by his mother, Beverly Ozburn Wright of Atlanta, his brother Gene Nunnally Wright and wife Allison Lucas Wright, and Nephews, Scholl Emerson Wright and Lucas Nunnally Wright of Athens, Georgia. He was a graduate of North Fulton High School in Atlanta, where he met many of the friends with whom he continued close relationships. Some of these friends often called him by his nickname “Deputy Dog”. He was also a graduate of the University of Georgia’s class of 1983 where he received a B.S. Degree in Risk Management and was a member of the Eta chapter of the Chi Phi Fraternity. Wesley had a love of friendship, family, the outdoors, music and all things of ‘fine quality’.

In Lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to the American Cancer Society. A service in memory and honor of Wesley will be held at H.M. Patterson and Son Springhill on January 30, 2016. There will be a visitation at 3:00 followed by a service at 4:00 presided by ArchBishop Dr. Foley Beach.
