William Pat Handlee, 65, of Dunwoody, passed away on March 7, 2011 at Northside Hospital due to complications from Wegener’s disease with his wife and family by his side. Bill loved to garden, collect coins and do home projects. He retired from Siemens Energy and Automations in Alpharetta, a veteran of the US Army and a member of Second Ponce de Leon Baptist Church. Bill leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Pat, sons, Christopher Alan and William Joseph, daughters, Elizabeth Kim and Chynna Morgan, grandchildren, Serenity Ariel and Madden Landry, brother, Sam Handlee of Jacksonville, Florida and sister, Jean Young of Greenville, South Carolina. Funeral services will be held Thursday, March 10th at 11 o’clock at Oglethorpe Hill Chapel. Interment North Atlanta Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Atlanta Humane Society. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 6 to 8 o’clock at H.M. Patterson & Son, Oglethorpe Hill, 4550 Peachtree Road, NE, Atlanta, Georgia, 30319.
