Amanda Fowler

Mrs. Fowler was a dedicated member of Collinsville Presbyterian Church. She graduated from Benjamin Russell High School and later attended Texas State College and Jacksonville State College. Amanda was also a proud president of the PTA.

Mrs. Fowler is preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Gerald C. Fowler, granddaughter Laura Winters Buff, and her parents, Alex Robert Simpson and Theresa K Simpson.

She is survived by children; Lydia Winters Buff (Larry), Cynthia Campbell (Steve), Felicia Butt (Allan), Maria Johnston (Darrell), Gerald C Fowler Jr., brothers; John Simpson and Alex (Sunny) Simpson, 19 grandchildren, and 13 great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Oliver Hall III, Oliver Hall II, Mark Delk, Darren Johnston, Adam Johnston, Christopher Buff, Matt Buff, Caleb Campbell, and Jeramiah Campbell. Honorary pallbearer is Brett Buff.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Collinsville Presbyterian Church in Collinsville, Alabama and Dauphin Island Methodist Church in Dauphin Island, Alabama.
