Funeral Services for Anna Louise Smith, age 80 of Attalla who passed away on Saturday, August 7, 2021, will be at Morgan Funeral Chapel on Wednesday, August 11, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. with Bro. Sammy O’dell and Bro. Phillip Elliott officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery. Morgan Funeral Chapel & Crematory directing.

She was born on July 19, 1941 to Ezra and Lorine Hedge Sutton who have preceded her in death.

Anna was a loving wife, mother and grandmother, her grandchildren were the light of her life. She enjoyed sewing, flower gardening and woodworking. Dressing up fancy and going to parties was one of her favorite things to do. She was a faithful member of Siberton Baptist Church.

Survivors include her devoted husband, Don Smith; daughter: Anita (Brent) Taylor, Angie (Brandon) Townsel and Kyndal (Tyler) Elliott; sons: Don (Sam) Smith and Dennis (Tanya) Smith; sixteen grandchildren, twenty one great grandchildren; brother, Nathan Sutton; six step-brothers and step-sisters and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.

The family would like to express their gratitude to Drew Allen, Tammy, Brittney and all the staff of Encompass Hospice for their exceptional care of Mrs. Smith.

Visitation will be at the funeral home on Tuesday, August 10, 2021 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m.
