Audrey Elnora Sprinkle

Audrey Elnora Sprinkle, age 97, passed away in the late hours of September 11, 2024. A native of Walnut Grove, Alabama, Mrs. Sprinkle was born on July 6, 1927, the daughter of Birt and Lena Goble. Audrey had 5 other siblings, and she was the youngest, her large family surrounded her. She married Fisher Sprinkle and had a daughter Lena Jo Allen Willis. Her family influenced Audrey to be a loving and caring woman, always giving her time to others and she incorporated that into her motherhood. Audrey had an eye for crafting and drawing things, but photography was her true passion. Mrs. Sprinkle was “Grann” to John and Mona who enjoyed her many stories, adventures, singing, or just talking. She was very proud to become a grandmother and became a very important part of their lives. She was loved and adored by a host of nieces and nephews who have preceded her in death and are still here to celebrate her life. She will be greatly missed by her family.

She was proceeded in death by her husband, Fisher Sprinkle; her parents, Birt and Lena Goble; her siblings, Cora Goble, Paul Goble, Coy Goble, Leldon Goble, and Eudora Smith.

Survivors include her daughter, Lena Jo Allen Willis; her grandchildren, John Willis, and Mona White (Virgil); her great-grandchildren, Tyler Willis (Mattie), Andrew Willis (Lexi), Kele Blankenship (Jordan), Karley Hincy (Deven), Chenoa Blankenship; her great-great-grandchildren Andersyn Willis, Ashton Blankenship.

Pallbearers include Tyler Willis, Andrew Willis, Kele Blankenship, Deven Hincy, Chenoa Blankenship, Donald Gray, Kelly Bunch.
