Barbara graduated from Etowah High School and worked as an X-ray technician for more than 40 years. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who cherished her family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, David Jackson, and her parents. She is survived by her son, Mark D. Paulk (Cindy); two grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held Thursday, September 24, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Morgan Funeral Chapel and will be officiated by Brother Nolan Clackley. The family will receive visitors from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
The family extends special thanks to Dr. Debra Reiland, Dr. G. Patel, and the nurses in the ICU at Riverview Regional Medical Center for their care.
