Barbara was a lifelong resident of Alabama, residing in Ashville. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. If you knew her; you knew exactly who she was, and what a huge heart she had. Always helping where and when she could. She may be gone from this world but certainly will never be forgotten. So, every time you see peonies and blueberries think of her and the joy that she brought to everyone.
Barbara was preceded in death by her husbands, Joe Jester and Marvin Whited; son, Craig Jester; sister, Charlsee Minton; brother, Johnny Merchant.
Barbara is survived by her daughter, Teresa Kay; granddaughter, Regina (Justin) E.; great-granddaughter, Alexis W; sister, Freda Galbreath; and a host of nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Morgan Funeral Chapel or Fergusons.
