Betty Glenn

Mrs. Betty Wallace Glenn, age 97, of Gadsden, Alabama passed away on Tuesday, April 26, 2022. Mrs. Glenn was born September 20, 1924 in Wilsonville, Alabama to Jasper and Ruthie Wallace. She was the sixth child of eight. Mrs. Glenn married the love of her life in 1942, Harold Glenn. They moved to Gadsden in 1943 when Harold went to work at Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co. They were married for 67 years.

Preceded in death by her parents, Jasper and Ruthie Wallace; husband, Harold Glenn; brothers, Ray, Doyle, Carlos and Jim Wallace; sisters, Agnes Nall, Ruby Coan and Jeanette Vick.

She is survived by her daughters, Patti Rasberry (Frank) and Peggy Honeycutt; grandsons, Greg Wiemann (Erin) and Daniel Honeycutt (Casey); granddaughter, Leah Rasberry Zook (Tony); great grandchildren, Ethan, Trey, Mason, Kyleigh, Peighton and Devanne; great-great grandson, Hunter.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Siberton Baptist Church Youth Group.

Pallbearers will be her Grandsons, Great Grandsons and Son-in-law.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, April 29, 2022 at 11:00 AM at the Crestwood Cemetery (2209 E Broad St, Gadsden, AL 35903).
