Billy Gene Cheatwood

Even in the midst of an unbelievable time of sadness, shock, and grief, there is great comfort in knowing Bill had a personal relationship with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, that he is healed perfectly and completely in Heaven with our Heavenly Father.

Billy Gene Cheatwood was born August 21, 1956 and passed into eternity with Jesus on November 20,2020.

He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Linda Cheatwood; his loving children , Ben Cheatwood and Allison Richardson( Seth); and two adoring granddaughters, Ella Mae and Emma Kennedy

Richardson; his sister, Anjinetta Barnes( Larry);

sisters-in-laws, Sandi

Prater(Weyman), Kay Bice, and Nancy Gilbert; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his mother,Joanne Horsely Cheatwood; father, R.V. Cheatwood; brother, Garry Cheatwood;

mother-in-law Emma Ruth Gilbert; and father-in-law, Ernest Judson Gilbert,II.

The Celebration of Life Service will Be at Cornerstone Church 530 Chestnut street Gadsden AL 35901

At 12 noon December 19 2020. The family will receive friends from 11-12.

With service at 12:00

it was Bill’s desire to celebrate with a meal afterward and we would love for those that knew him and loved him to stay and eat and fellowship with us.

We realize and understand that December is an exceptionally busy time of the year and there are concerns with COVID that may keep you from coming.

If you do plan come and celebrate Bill’s life with us, please let us know where we can have an appropriate count for the caterer!
