

Funeral service will be at 4:00 p.m. Thursday, April 28, 2022 at Morgan Funeral Chapel with Bro. Larry Garrard, Bro. Phillip Elliott, and Bro. Doug Baker officiating. Burial at Oak Hill Cemetery.
Chas was a 1993 graduate of Etowah High School. He dedicated his life to the service of his community through the local EMS system and various local fire departments. For the past 22 years, he has been a dedicated member and officer of the Reece City Fire Department. Chas was employed by Goodyear Tire and Rubber until its closure in 2019. He was currently with the Attalla Police Department as the Animal Control Officer.
He is survived by his wife of 19 years, Beth Cline; his children, Anna Cline and Jay Cline; parents, Bobby and Romanza Cline; father and mother in law, Eddy and Polly Davenport; brother in law, Bryan (Heather) Davenport and sister in law, Ashley Davenport; special aunt, Martha Noles Guin; nephews, Austin and Andrew Davenport and niece, Allee Davenport.
The family wishes to express their sincere gratitude to the Reece City Fire Department, The Attalla Police Department, The Etowah County Sheriff’s Department, and Etowah County Coroner, London Pearce, and the City of Attalla.
Pallbearers will be his fellow firemen of Reece City Fire Department.
Honorary Pallbearers will be the employees and staff of the Attalla Police Department and the City of Attalla.
The family will receive friends from 1p.m. until the hour of service.
