B.T. "Judy" Goode

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, August 15, 2026 at Morgan Funeral Chapel, Attalla, AL. Visitation will be held in the Chapel from 12:00pm - 1:00pm, with the funeral service to follow. The family has requested a private committal service to be held at Pine Grove Cemetery, Glencoe, AL. Bro. Mark Gidley will officiate.

Judy was born on June 27, 1947, to Jesse G. and Bertha H. Trewhitt and was the youngest of six children. She graduated from Ashville High School in 1965 and spent the majority of her career at Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company, where she met the love of her life, Larry Goode.

Judy loved the Lord and was a devoted member of Faith Worship Center, where she faithfully led the Senior Group for many years. With a selfless and forgiving heart, she found great joy in caring for others. Above all, she treasured her family and loved nothing more than spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She was also a woman of many hobbies, but she especially enjoyed working with her flowers and plants. She had a green thumb and a special gift for bringing even the most struggling plants back to life. Her kindness, faith, and love for her family touched the lives of so many, and she will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Preceded in death by her husband, Larry Goode; her parents, Jesse G. and Bertha H. Trewhitt; her chosen parents, Pete and Edna Goode; sisters, Lucille Trewhitt, Betty Jo Trewhitt, and Ellen Trewhitt; brothers, Bob Trewhitt and Randy Trewhitt; and nephew, Russell Trewhitt.

Judy is survived by her daughters, Angela (Heath) Bolton, Leslie (John) Evans, and Kimberly (Dennis) Wolfe; grandchildren, Kassidy Bolin, Kennedy (Trey) Underwood, Haley (Brandon) Harcrow, Hannah Evans, Mackenzie (Daylon) Waddell, Madison Wolfe, and Hayden Wolfe; great-grandchildren, Kaelyn Hollis (Dayton Schrimsher), Jaxon Hollis, Klaiton Hollis, Waylon Elkins, Michael Ty Underwood, Case Harcrow, Lainey Kate Harcrow, Briggs Harcrow, and Benjamin Harcrow; brother, Mack (Gail) Trewhitt and family; special niece, Shirley (Mark) Ellenburg and family; sister, Debbie (Kerry Lee) Johnson and family; her loving fur companion, Kevyn; along with a host of extended family, chosen family, and friends.

Pallbearers are Trey Underwood, Billy Brown, John Hollis, Jaxon Hollis, Klaiton Hollis, and Dayton Schrimsher . Honorary pallbearers are Waylon Elkins and Michael Ty Underwood.
