Carrie Elizabeth McFarland Gosnell

Carrie was born on July 28, 1973 in Dearborn, Michigan. She went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, February 13, 2018 after an extended illness. She was preceded in death by her father, Charles E. McFarland Jr., her infant son, Jared Keith McFarland, her grandparents, Charles and Minnie McFarland and John and Mary Wanda Sweeney.

She is survived by her mother, Sandra McFarland, her companion and love of her life, Paul Doublet, her brothers, Charles (Shelia), Darren (Terisa) and Daniel (Jennifer Bridwell) McFarland and her nieces and nephews.

Carrie was a very caring person. She loved all animals, especially her cats. If you want to honor Carrie's memory, please perform an act of kindness for another person or animal. She would love that.

She was very talented, loved crafts and was especially skilled at making cards. I will always treasure my special cards.

She attended The Salvation Army for years until her health declined.

The family will receive friends at Morgan Funeral Chapel Friday from 10 am-12 pm.
