Charles Lee Morgan

Charles (Chuck) Lee Morgan, 73, passed away on Tuesday, March 15, 2022. Chuck was born and raised in Gadsden, Alabama. After serving in Vietnam, he worked at Republic Steel then Alabama Power (Weiss Lake Dam). He was a faithful member of MeadowBrook Church and enjoyed serving in many capacities. He was greatly loved by many and will be missed so much.

He is survived by his wife Elona A. Morgan; sons Brandon (Meredith) Morgan, Blake (Lacey) Amos, and Chad (Kim) Amos; grandchildren Tait Morgan and Elizabeth Amos; brother Mike (Sharon) Morgan; sisters Patricia (Franklin) Hulsey and Bonita (Jonathan) Pence; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents Charles Hunter and Thelma Lee Morgan; daughter Jennifer Leigh Morgan; brother Jerome Morgan; and sister Brenda Turner.

On Friday, March 18, 2022, the funeral service will be held at MeadowBrook Church in Gadsden, Alabama. Pastor Randy Gunter will officiate the service beginning at 2:00pm. The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to the service.

Honorary pallbearers are all members of Cornerstone Life Group. Donations may be made to the MeadowBrook Missions Fund in lieu of flowers.
