Colsen Mack Mays was born on June 30, 2026, to his loving parents, Nathan Mays and Blakely Vincent-Mays. In his short time here, Colsen filled the lives of his family with a love and happiness that can never be measured.
Colsen was, without a doubt, Mama’s baby. He loved being held close, riding in his stroller, going for car rides, and simply being wherever his family was. He had the most beautiful blue eyes, the sweetest smile, and a silly little personality that made everyone around him laugh.
He was always smiling, always laughing, and simply a happy baby.
Colsen loved blowing bubbles and listening to Gavin Adcock. He found joy in the simplest things, and those little moments became some of the most precious memories his family will carry forever.
His big sister, seven-year-old Addison Gibbs, loved him with her whole heart. She loved to carry Colsen around and cared for him as though he were her very own baby doll. He was her baby brother, her little buddy, and a very special part of her heart. The bond they shared was beautiful, and she will carry that love with her always.
Colsen was deeply loved by his Memaw and Papaw and his Oma. He was surrounded by a family who treasured every cuddle, every smile, every laugh, and every little moment they were blessed to share with him.
Although Colsen’s life was far too short, he made an everlasting mark on everyone who knew and loved him. His family wishes for more days, more cuddles, more car rides, more bubbles, more laughter, and more time. But they are endlessly grateful for every precious moment they were given with their sweet boy.
Colsen was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Johnny “Pops” and Laura Vincent; great-grandfather Joseph Chapman; Nana Glenda Reeves; and his fraternal great-grandparents.
He leaves behind his loving parents, Nathan Mays and Blakely Vincent-Mays; his beloved big sister, Addison Gibbs; grandparents Jimmy and Paige Mays; fraternal great-grandparents Chuck and Linda Thompson; Oma Shannan Wilkinson (Marky-Mark); Lollie Jessica Vincent; GiGi Amber Robinson; Uncle Derek Mays; Aunt Hayley Redd (Michael);cousins Aiden, Natalie, and Jesse; along with a host of aunts, uncles, extended family, and friends who loved him beyond measure.
There will never be enough words to explain how much Colsen meant to the people who loved him. He was their sweet boy, their happy baby, and their blue-eyed blessing. He may have only been here for a little while, but he left behind a lifetime of love.
His family will forever remember his beautiful blue eyes, his contagious smile, his silly little laugh, and the happiness he brought wherever he went.
Visitation will be held Saturday, October 10, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Morgan Funeral Home, followed by a chapel service at 12:00 p.m. A private interment will follow at Rainbow Memorial Gardens.
Until we meet again, sweet Colsen, keep smiling, keep laughing, and keep blowing those bubbles.
You will forever be Mama’s baby, Addison’s very own baby doll, and a precious piece of all our hearts.
"You are loved more than all the fishes in the sea, all the stars in the sky and up on in the numbers." Mama and Daddy
