Darlene Goble Battles

Funeral Services for Mrs. Darlene Goble Battles, age 84 of Attalla, will be held on Thursday, December 22, 2022 at 2:00 P.M. at Morgan Funeral Chapel with Bro. Gary Ashley officiating. Burial will follow at Conn Cemetery.

Mrs. Battles passed away on Tuesday, December 20, 2022 at Northside Healthcare. She was a loving mother and grandmother that enjoyed spending time with her family. Mrs. Battles loved going to the beach and hunting for seashells. Her dog, Baby, was always by her side and she loved him very much. Mother will be missed by all.

She is survived by her daughter, Susan Clowdus, her sons, Michael (Tammy) Battles, Timothy Ray Battles, Gregory Scott Battles and Danny (Lorie) Battles, her grandchildren, Taylor Clowdus, Ashley (Jake) Kenner, Amy (Andrew) Thomas, Matt and Zach Battles, Della Battles, Brad (Melissa) Battles and 10 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Bernie Goble and Ruth Smith, and her brother, Bernice Goble.

Active pallbearers will be her grandsons, Matt and Zack Battles, Taylor Clowdus, Brad and Caleb Battles and Jake Keener.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 22, 2022 from 12:30 P.M. until service time at 2:00 P.M. at Morgan Funeral Chapel.
