A celebration of life will be Saturday at 1 pm at the Shoal Creek Valley Fire Department Station 1, 13370 Shoal Creek Rd., Ashville, AL.
David was a member of the Shoal Creek Valley Fire Department and the Baptist Association Relief Team.
He is survived by his parents, Lanny and Deborah Varner.
