Dian Daugherty Griffith, age 68 of Gadsden passed away peacefully while surrounded by her family on June 18, 2018. A funeral service will be held in her honor on Thursday June 21, 2018 at 12 Noon at Morgan Funeral Chapel. The family will receive friends for visitation at the funeral home on Thursday, from 10 A.M. to 12 noon.
Pastor Daniel Woodcock will officiate.

Dian retired from McGuffey’s-Rehab First after more than twenty-three years working with dietary service. Known lovingly as “Mawmaw”, she joyfully doted on her grandchildren and great grandbabies. Dian also enjoyed playing Bingo, and trips to the mountains of Gatlinburg. Those preceding her in death include; her parents and grandparents; husband, Pat Ray Griffith; infant son, David Ray Griffith; brothers, Ray Daugherty, Bill Whaley, and Jeff Freeman.
She is survived by;
Son, Tim (Carolyn) Griffith
Daughters, Tammie (Richard) Carroll and Patsy (Shawn) Saucedo
Grandchildren, Kerry Griffith, Miranda Cannon, Blake Griffith, Kariah Moon and Kyle Griffith.
Great-grandchildren, Jaxson Griffith, Brylan Gilchrist, Saylor Griffith, and Gabriell Dedmon.
Chosen grandchildren, Ray Freeman, Tony Castanon, David Works.

Sisters, Darlene Dobbs, Penny Burkett, and Meschell Jones
