Mrs. Swindall was a substitute teacher. She found great joy in being an amazing grandmother and chosen grandmother. She was preceded in death by her late husband, Billy Joe Swindall, Sr.; her mother, Clara McMurrey; and her father, Johnnie McMurrey. She is survived by her son, Billy Joe Swindall Jr. (Sheena); her daughter, Samantha McMurrey; several nieces and nephews; chosen grandchildren, Lilly and Carson Croy; her grandson, Colton Swindall; and her brothers and sisters.
