Mrs. Florence Neonta Grant, age 78, of Attalla, went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on November 21, 2018. Her funeral service will be held at Morgan Funeral Chapel on Monday, November 26, 2018 at 1pm. The family will receive friends for visitation at the funeral home from 11am-1pm prior to the service in the chapel.
Mrs. Grant faithfully attended Dwight Baptist Church until the decline in her health prevented her from attending.
Those proceeding her in death were her parents Clyde (Peachy) and Lucille Williams, brothers, Glen Williams and Ken Williams, and her husband, James S. Grant.
She leaves behind her sons, Joseph (Naomi) Hood and Randy Hood; Grandson, Neal (Kayla) Hood; Granddaughters, Lauren Hood and Kelsey Hood; Great Grandchildren, Malia Hood, Nayla Hood, and Adonis Hood; Sisters, Memory (Rodney) Thompson, Penny Williams Godfrey; Brother Mike (Theresa) Williams; and several nieces and nephews.
