On August 16, 1975, Frankie married the love of his life, Susan (Turley) Bryant. Together they shared 50 years of devotion and love, raising their beloved son, Tony Lynn Bryant, born July 31, 1988. Frankie worked for Aspen Tree Services for 29 years before retiring in 1996.
A true outdoorsman, Frankie found great joy in fishing trips, hunting, and time spent in nature. More than anything, he cherished being with his wife and son, with whom he shared an inseparable bond. Growing up in Etowah County during the 1950s gave Frankie a special connection with his siblings—a bond he treasured throughout his life.
He was preceded in death by his twin baby boys, Shannon Lynn and Donald Glen Bryant; his parents, Thomas Lee and Pauline Battles Bryant; his brothers, Randall Gene, Charles, Billy, Larry, and Anthony (Moe) Bryant; his sisters, Nellie Fay, Virginia Lucinda, Glenda Sue, Martha Kate, and Jackie Gail; and his in-laws, Howard and Mary Turley.
Frankie is survived by his devoted wife of 50 years, Susan Bryant; his son, Tony Lynn Bryant; and Paige Simmons. He is also survived by sisters, Shirley (Jerry) Walden, Cathy Dumas, and Darlene Bryant; brothers- and sisters-in-law, Wayne, Terry, George, Nancy, Diane, Tammy, and Patty; a special family friend, Brandon Holmes; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and lifelong friends who will miss him dearly.
Pallbearers will be: Tony Bryant (son), Brandon Holmes (friend), Corey Steele (friend), Kevin Ragan (friend), James O’Bryant (nephew), and “Lil Jerry” (My Buddy) O’Bryant (great-nephew).
Visitation will be held at Morgan Funeral Chapel on Monday, October 6, 2025, from 1:00–1:30 p.m. for family and 1:30–2:30 p.m. for friends and family. Funeral services will follow at 2:30 p.m., officiated by Brother Charles Bellew. Graveside services will take place at Hopewell Cemetery immediately following the chapel service.
The family extends heartfelt gratitude to Dr. H. Patel, Dr. J. Patel, Dr. R. Grant, Home Health, Riverview staff, and Hospice staff for the compassionate care Frankie received. They also thank all the friends and family who supported him throughout his life’s journey.
Frankie will be remembered for his love of family, his appreciation of the outdoors, and the kindness and loyalty he shared with everyone who knew him.
