Graveside services for Gwendolyn Minyard McDaniel, who passed away on Sunday, August 22, 2021 will be at Rainbow Memorial Gardens on Thursday, August 26, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. The family will receive friends at the cemetery prior to the service beginning at 11:00 a.m. Morgan Funeral Chapel & Crematory directing.

Gwendolyn was an active member of Riddles Bend Baptist Church. Prior to retirement she served as Secretary of Southside High School. She enjoyed gardening and working in her flower beds. Her greatest joy was spending time and playing with her great grandkids.

She was preceded in death by her parents: Arthur and Eloise Minyard; husband, Jack McDaniel and brother, Jessie “JG” Minyard.

Survivors include her daughter, Patti (Gary) McDaniel; grandson, Jeremy (Katie) McDaniel; great granddaughters: Madison and Avery McDaniel; brother, Hoyt (Rachel) Minyard; sisters-in-law: Bettye Minyard and Nell McDaniel and a host of nieces, nephews and extended family.

Pallbearers will be Justin Minyard, Mike Minyard, Chris Minyard, Blake Farmer, Kyle Minyard and Audy Irvine.

Honorary pallbearers are Dennis Bone, Jeff Sauls, Greg McDaniel and Mike Hunt.
