James Bryant

Funeral Service will be at 3pm Friday, June 16, 2023 at Morgan Funeral Chapel with Bro. David Manojlovich officiating. Visitation will be prior to the service from 2 until 3pm.

Burial will be in Pilgrim's Rest Cemetery, at Southside.

James was proceeded in death by his parents James Archie and Rhoda Rebecca. His only sibling, Barbara Joyce Bryant Helms June 22, 1936 to April 12, 2010; Son, Philip Rondall July 3, 1957 to Dec 24, 1988. His dear wife of 63 years, Bebe Lois Satterfield Bryant July 1, 1931 to Dec 17, 2012. Son James Michael Oct 18, 1952 to Mar 28, 2014. Son Mark Javan Jan. 16, 1962 to Jan. 14, 2020; and niece, Rhonda Helms Zimmerman.

He is survived by daughter, Rebecca Dyanne Bryant Higgins and husband, Steve; Son, Stephen Craig and wife Denise July 10, 1959; daughter in law, Denise Lee; Grandchildren, Jared, Brandi, Jeremy H, Justin, Jeremy B, Josh, Nathan, Heather, Cherie, Candace, Sarah, Lee; Great Grandchildren, Harper Lou, Gabe, Daniel S, Michael, Mitchell, Brinley Claire, Bailey, Hannah, Cade, Lindsey, Ella K, Cohen, Bella, Judson, Brinley N, Nate, Daniel Q, Gracie, Jacob, Dannah, Julie Anne, Dayton, Caley Jo, Brianna, Daniel D, Blaine, Cameron, Bryson, Ryan P, Bryant, Chrissa, Mason; Great Great Granchildren, Paislee, Myles, and James; nieces, Leisa Helms Williams and family, Rhonda Helms Zimmerman’s family; cousin, Linda Sue Bryant Roberts Anthony and family. And very very special hospice nurse Nicole McCue that worked diligently to make his life the past year a little more pleasant with each of her 100+ visits. Her care and compassion got him through multiple challenging days. We will forever be thankful for the exceptional love and care she gave during his final moments.

James was born Dec 30, 1930. At 23 years, July 1954, James had learned the glory and peace of worshipping and serving the True God JEHOVAH (Psalm 83:18). His Holy Word the Bible became James way of life. He shared that with any who desired. His father, Archie, was an example of and taught James to be an industrious and diligent worker. James living Faith in Jehovah's promises through Jesus of Paradise Restored during His 1000 year reign, gives him a sure hope of Resurrection and Restoration with all his dearly loved ones. Also billions who will have benefited by means of Faith in Jesus Ransoming sacrifice of His Perfect life, buying back for Humanity what Adam and Eve sinned away. You can be there too!!!

Active Pallbearers will be grandsons. Honorary Pallbearers will be great grandsons.
