I worked with Mr. Carter for the 22 years I was with Walmart. There was never a day where he didn't smile and ask how you were doing. He was there to talk, encourage or work side by side if you needed help. He never talked bad or down to anyone always encouraging you to do your best. If you had a question he would get the answer and always followed up to see if the situation was resolved or if he could do anything to help. He was a true role model and one of the good ones gone too soon. RIH James you will be missed.

James was such a good manager and person. He never talked bad about anyone and he was always encouraging all that he managed. Whenever I had a question about a department he always took time to help and explain. Mrs Debbie and his children can be proud of the legacy he leaves behind. Because he was one of the good ones. Love and miss you at 301.

James Carter was always there for me and my sisters. He always called us by our last name because we all worked there together. So instead of messing up on our names(like everyone does) he would call out hey Argo. No matter what was going on he would make sure that we were doing good and always talked to us. On my last day at store 301 James gave me a hug and told me if I ever needed anything or to come back to let him know and he would be there. I am truly going to miss this man and i pray for peace for Mrs. Debbie and his family. May God rest his soul. Gone but never forgotten.

James was a fantastic manager at Walmart. What I remember most about James is that he was always professional. He would smile and let you know that he cared but when it was time for business then do your work. He kept his work on a professional level and he was always fair on the job whether you knew him for 5 minutes or 5 years. Rest in peace James and I pray God will wrap His comforting arms around your family.
