

A graveside service will be held at Forrest Cemetery on Saturday March 22, 2025, at 12:00 PM in Gadsden, AL. Brother Jerry Epps to officiate.
James was born into this world on February 18, 1935, in Loyal, Wisconsin to Fred and Clara Clouse. After graduating from high school, James enlisted in the United States Marine Corp. where he served proudly during the time of the Korean War. While serving his country, James met his first wife, Jimmie Sue “Davis” Clouse.. They were married for 60 years at the time of her passing. Together they raised three wonderful children. James worked tirelessly at Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company for 40 years. Not yet ready for full retirement, Jim then worked as a shoreline manager for the Alabama Power Company for 18 years. In 2020, he was blessed to have met the woman who would become his second wife, Dian Roberts Forrester . They were able to spend five beautiful years together until his passing.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Fred Lenord Clouse and Clara Wittlinger Clouse; wife, Jimmie Sue Davis Clouse; ten brothers and sisters; and multiple nieces and nephews.
He is survived by his wife, Dian Roberts Clouse; sons, Gregory James (Kathy) Clouse, and Kenneth John (Tessa) Clouse; daughter, Carol Clouse (Tim) Pinkerton; stepsons, Andrew (Stephanie) Davis, and Nick (Ann) Davis; eight grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Saint Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, or the Riddles Bend Baptist Church Building Fund.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to the Riverview Regional Medical Center Emergency Room nursing staff.
