Jean Beacham Hartley Phillips

Funeral service will be held at Morgan Funeral Chapel on Wednesday May 30, 2018 at 1 P.M. The family will receive friends for visitation for two hours prior to the service on Wednesday, from 11 A.M. to 1 P.M.

Interment will follow at Rainbow Memorial Gardens.

Jean was raised in Altoona and graduated from Altoona High School. She held a long career as a secretary, working in administration for several local companies including Steelworkers International and Tram-Beam. Jean also kept active with an assortment of hobbies, including square dancing and home remodeling. But most of all, Jean loved her family; the ever-constant organizer and planner, she was dependable and loving and will be dearly missed by so many. Those preceding her in passing include; her parents, Earl and Nancy Beacham; uncle, Homer Beacham; siblings, James Beacham, Kathryn Humphries, Earl Junior “EJ” Beacham, Billy Beacham and Barbara Dean Hutto; great grandson, Jakob.

She leaves behind;

Husband of thirty-four years, Robert Phillips

Daughter, Charlotte Cornutt (Husband, David)

Son, Richard Hartley

Step-children, Lori McAteer (Justin) and Robbie Phillips (Amy).

Grandchildren, Kenneth Scott Smith (Karen), Bobby Hartley (DeAnna) and Terri Lambert (Jeremy).

Three great-grandchildren, Olivia, Mason and Jasper.

Along with a host of step-grandchildren and great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and extended family.

Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
