Jeff is preceded in death by his father Howard Minyard, step-father Jack Hope; brother-n-laws Timothy "Bo" Brown Jr. and Dru Richey; grandparents, Fred and Lena Minyard, Aubrey and Gertrude Roden.
Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife of 37 years, Lisa Minyard; sons Joseph(Kesley) Minyard, Jeffery(Lindsey) Minyard; grandchildren Kylen, Chandler, Josie; bonus grandchildren Blakely and Jaxon. His loving mother that never left his side, Denia Hope, step-mother Virginia Minyard; father-n-law Timothy Brown Sr.
Sisters Mona Williams, Audrey(Tim) Phillips, Angie Richey, Renee(Ken) Castleberry; brothers John(Teresa) Minyard, Justin(Jackie) Stapler, Tim(Yuliya) Keener;
sister-n-law Kim Rhodes, Cindy(Paul) Ensign; brother-n-law Danny Brown. Nephews Blaine(Emily), Dakota(Taylor), Jesse(Sarah), David(Holley), Jeremy;
Niece Alexis and a host of great nephews and nieces.
Jeff, or as most called him Fred, grew up in Attalla, Alabama. He attended Etowah High School where he was part of the class of 1987. Jeff was employed by D & F Alabama Machine Works. Former employers include Weaver Diversified, former shop manager for Old Man's Garage and Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company.
His accolades include being part of and receiving many awards from Big Brothers/Big Sisters of Northeast Alabama, Bow Hunters Association and Poor Folks Fishing Club. But, his reward was all the people he meet along the way that called him friend. Jeff had so many and each were special in their own way.
Jeff will be remember a big Alabama football fan, as well as a loving husband, father, son, brother and friend to many.

A memorial service will be held on Sunday, July 14, 2024 at Morgan's Funeral and Crematory in Attalla,
AL.
Visitation will be from 12:30pm until 2pm with service starting at 2pm until 3pm.
