Jerry Dalton Gladden

He grew up on a farm in Blount County in the 40's and 50's. He worked in construction when he entered the workforce where he worked for 50 years. Jerry was 1/4 Cherokee Indian. In the 70's he bought a farm in St. Clair County where he raised produce up to last year (2023). He loved his grandchildren. He also loved his dogs, goats, cows plus having a crop every year. Hard work was very important to him; a trait which he passed on to his son and grandchildren. He worked up until his last days.

He was preceded in death by his father, John Gladden; mother, Margarette Gladden.

He is survived by his wife, Bobbie Gladden; son, Steven (Lisa) Gladden; grandsons, Joshua (Malinda) Gladden, Daniel (Taylor) Gladden, Jonathan (Lila) Gladden; great granddaughter, Qora Gilley; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Josh Gladden, Daniel Gladden, Jonathan Gladden, Tim Wood, Charlie Wentz, Joe Kennedy, Travis Kennedy.

Honorary Pallbearer is Greg Wood and Doug Reneiman.
