Jerry L. Hammett

Funeral service will be held at Morgan Funeral Chapel on Friday January 19, 2018 at 1 P.M.

The family will receive friends for visitation on Friday at the funeral home from 11 A.M. to 1 P.M.

Rev. Jimmy Bailey will officiate the service.

Interment to follow at Rainbow Memorial Gardens.

Jerry worked several years for Flowers Bakery and later for SNL as a transport supervisor. He loved time spent with his family and his beloved schnauzer, Casper along with Auburn football and fishing.He was preceded in death by his parents, Walton and Lucille Hammett and also by father in law, Henry Horton.

He leaves behind;

Daughter, Stacie Raughton (Steve)

Son, Todd Hammett

Son, Shane Hammett

Sisters, Carolyn Pinson, Sherry Hornbuckle and Darlene Stanford

Grandchildren; Dakota and Tanner Hammett

Special family friends; Thomas Wallace (Judy), Jodie Hammett, and Shannon Randolph.

Along with a host of in-law, nieces, nephews and friends.
