Jerry Milton Johns, 77, of Leesburg, AL passed away on September 18, 2017 at home. He was preceded in death by his parents, Willard and Ozell Johns of Springville, AL. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Frances; son Guy Johns of Roswell, GA; daughter Kerri Williamson (Gill) of Trussville, AL, and two beloved grandchildren, Alexander and Zachary. He was a member of Centre First Baptist Church. He loved his family, his church, his neighbors, gospel music, being on the lake, and making people laugh. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Services will be held at 1 pm Thursday at Morgan Funeral Chapel. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to his church, Centre First Baptist Church, 373 E. Main Street, Centre, Alabama 35960, or his grandchildren’s school, Jefferson Christian Academy, 1500 Heritage Place Drive, Irondale, Alabama 35210.
The family will receive friends Wednesday from 6-8 pm at Morgan Funeral Chapel.
